Hubert H. Humphrey

Vice-President Hubert H. Humphrey started out here in Minneapolis. He was Mayor of this fine city before moving on to be a state Senator and then VP under Lyndon B. Johnson.

He had the nickname of "The Happy Warrior" because of his pleasant disposition and his courage to fight for the things he believed in.
